Eagles Place Tenth in Central Christian College Invitational |

The RHEMA Eagles golf team finished 10th out of 17 teams at the Central Christian College Fall Invitational in McPherson, Kansas.
Playing the par-70 Turkey Creek Golf Course, The Eagles shot an opening round 320, paced by sophomore Jason Holland, who shot an opening round 75. Tyler Braden posted a 76, Shawn Shockley an 82, and Chris Gentry contributed an 87 toward the team score. Jon Rogers carded a 95.
The Eagles improved by 10 shots on day two, posting a team score of 310. Braden fired a 4-over-par 74, Holland a 77, Gentry a 79, and Rogers closed out the team score with an 80. Shockley posted an 86. Braden finished the tournament with a two-day total of 150 (10 over par), good enough for 17th place out of the 92 golfers in the field. Holland ended up tied for 27th with a 12-over total of 152. Gentry’s two-day score of 166 landed him tied for 64th. With a total of 168, Shockley finished in 68th, and Rogers ended up tied for 72nd with a total of 175. |
