The Rhema Eagles squared off against Oklahoma Wesleyan University for the second time in seven days. In each contest, OWU held a small advantage at halftime, but extended their lead in the second half. In Saturday night’s contest, the only difference was Rhema was unable to make a run to close the gap, falling 67-48.

Rhema (2-7) only shot 26 percent (12-for-47) from the floor, compared to 39 percent (26-for-66) for OWU. The biggest difference on the stat sheet was rebounding, where Oklahoma Wesleyan pulled 45 rebounds (20 offensive) while Rhema grabbed only 27.

Freshman guard Rico Hereford led the Eagles with a team-high 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting from behind the floor. Josh White, Parris Hoskins, and Josh Reis each added eight points, while White and Hoskins added seven and six rebounds, respectively. Brody Christian finished with seven points and three steals.
